Job description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Case Manager to support our growing Personal Injury team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of case management, and a proven ability to manage complex medical records and legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management & Legal Support:
  • Independently manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
  • Coordinate and track the lifecycle of each case, including file setup, ongoing client communication, and legal support tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents, accident reports, insurance policies, and demand packages.
  • Medical Record & Treatment Oversight:
  • Manage medical treatment timelines and proactively identify gaps or delays in care.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records to assess case value and liability.
  • Work directly with providers to ensure timely receipt of bills and records and maintain updated medical summaries.
  • Client Communication & Coordination:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; maintain regular, empathetic, and clear communication throughout the case.
  • Guide clients through treatment plans, property damage claims, and documentation needs.
  • Document Preparation & Organization:
  • Draft and proof correspondence, demands, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic files and ensure proper documentation of all case activity.
  • Administrative & Process Management:
  • Manage deadlines, statutes, and legal calendar tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflow and improve case progression processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Personal Injury law firm, with demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently.
  • Deep understanding of personal injury law, medical terminology, and treatment timelines.
  • Strong skills in medical record analysis and understanding how to build a compelling injury narrative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of handling sensitive client interactions with professionalism and compassion.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote team-based environment.
