This role is fully remote, providing flexibility for the Mental Health Counselor to design their own work schedule, emphasizing work-life balance and personal autonomy. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new clients, developing comprehensive treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Maintain consistent therapeutic sessions with a caseload of up to 25 clients per week, providing emotional support and guidance to promote client well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention services when required, ensuring that safety concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors for case consultations and referrals, enhancing the quality of care provided to clients.
• Utilize relevant therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to support trauma recovery.
• Ensure all documentation meets HIPAA standards, maintaining client confidentiality and data security.
• Foster strong, compassionate relationships with clients, always prioritizing their needs while upholding ethical guidelines.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele including adults, adolescents, families, and couples. Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, ranging from single-incident traumas to more complex PTSD. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their healing journey and build resilience.

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• Current licensure in Oregon (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
• Proficient in using digital platforms for documenting notes and maintaining client records.

• Previous experience working with trauma and PTSD populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMDR and IFS therapeutic techniques.
• Experience providing services in a rural or underserved setting.
• Ability to implement evidence-based practices tailored to individual client needs.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive package of benefits that includes:
