Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations using validated techniques to uncover clients’ mental health challenges and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to deliver effective individual therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs.
• Set and review therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, regularly measuring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate teletherapy options, ensuring accessible care for clients who prefer virtual sessions or face geographic and logistical barriers.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment history, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to stay current with best practices, mental health trends, and evolving therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Advocate Aurora Medical Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing therapy to varied patient populations.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and availability.
