This individual will work closely with the VP of Strategic Partnerships to drive business development initiatives, cultivate long-term relationships, and support the continued growth of the company's legal partner ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business development professional with a strong understanding of the legal industry, particularly the plaintiff and mass tort space. This person should be comfortable building relationships, managing a sales pipeline, coordinating industry events, and identifying new partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the legal partnership CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities and follow-up activities.

  • Conduct outbound outreach to prospective partners and coordinate ongoing communications.

  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective and existing law firm partners.

  • Identify and research new business development opportunities within the legal market.

  • Coordinate conference participation, networking activities, and follow-up efforts.

  • Distribute marketing materials, case studies, and partnership resources to prospective clients and partners.

  • Collaborate with internal leadership to execute strategic partnership initiatives.

  • Monitor partnership activity and provide regular updates on pipeline performance and business development efforts.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, account management, or sales within the legal industry.

  • Strong understanding of the plaintiff legal and mass tort marketplace.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with law firms and legal industry stakeholders.

  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with plaintiff law firms, legal marketing, legal technology, case acquisition, referral partnerships, or related legal services.

  • Familiarity with industry conferences, networking events, and partnership development within the legal marketplace.

  • Existing professional relationships within the legal community are highly desirable.

Success in the First Six Months
  • Increase meetings with target law firms and strategic partners.

  • Expand the partnership pipeline with new qualified opportunities.

  • Increase referral activity and partner engagement.

  • Maintain a well-organized CRM with consistent follow-up.

  • Improve conference and networking ROI through relationship development.

  • Contribute to measurable growth in new partnership opportunities.
