Position Summary

The Medical Director provides medical oversight and support for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards and company policies.

This is a remote position with flexible availability during clinic operating hours.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide medical oversight for assigned mid-level providers (NPs/PAs)

  • Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives

  • Offer medical direction and clinical guidance to the practice

  • Assist providers with clinical questions and patient care decisions

  • Support the implementation of clinic policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

  • Assist with resolution of patient concerns, requests, and inquiries


Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other clinical or administrative duties as needed to support patient care and daily operations


Qualifications
  • Active Virginia physician license required

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in:

    • Family Medicine

    • Internal Medicine

    • General Practice

    • OB/GYN

    • Or related specialty

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

  • Interest in wellness, obesity medicine, or preventive care preferred


Schedule

Medical Director should be available remotely during clinic hours:

  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Thursday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Days and hours are negotiable.


Compensation
  • $500 per month

  • Malpractice insurance provided
