We're looking for a motivated and detail-orientedย Accountantย to play a key role in our company's financial operations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manageย Accounts Receivableย processes, including invoicing, applying manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling accounts.
  • Recordย routine journal entriesย andย bank transactions.
  • Enterย accounts payable billsย andย credit card transactionsย as needed.
  • Performย month-end closingsย andย account reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data, making necessary corrections and adjustments.
  • Conductย bank reconciliations.
  • Provide support to accounting team members as required.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree inย Accountingย orย Finance.
  • 1-2 yearsย of experience with accrual-based accounting, including AR, journal entries, month-end close, and bank reconciliations.

  • Strongย written and verbal communicationย skills; comfortable interacting across all levels of the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
