Job Title: Software Engineer / Software Developer
Location: Remote

Position Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer / Developer to design, develop, configure, test, deploy, maintain, and support software applications and systems support. Work may include web applications, databases, engineering applications, interfaces, and industrial control/automation-related software.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze software and system requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Design, develop, configure, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Support web applications, databases, interfaces, engineering applications, and automation-related systems.
• Develop software in accordance with approved software lifecycle and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain software design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance documentation.
• Develop unit and integration tests and support formal system and acceptance testing.
• Participate in peer reviews and independent software reviews.
• Resolve software defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support configuration management, version control, release management, and change-control activities.
• Assist with software installation, deployment, upgrades, patches, and production support.
• Maintain requirements-to-design-to-test traceability.
• Work with SQA Engineers to ensure software products and lifecycle artifacts meet applicable quality requirements.
• Support safety- and quality-affecting software controls when assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional software development and application support experience.
• Experience with requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with databases and application integration.
• Experience using source/version control and configuration management practices.
• Understanding of SDLC, software testing, defect management, and change control.
• Ability to prepare clear technical and lifecycle documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing or maintaining safety- or quality-affecting software.
• Experience with web applications and relational databases.
• Exposure to industrial automation, process control, SCADA, PLC, DCS, or engineering systems is desirable.
Experience working under formal SQA and configuration management processes.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
