The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing hospital construction or facilities projects tied to enterprise healthcare technology rollouts, particularly Epic go-lives. This person will work closely with facilities leadership, IS teams, deployment teams, clinical stakeholders, contractors, and third-party vendors to assess current-state environments, document infrastructure requirements, coordinate walkthroughs, and drive project readiness.

The organization is currently transitioning from Cerner to Epic, with a targeted enterprise go-live scheduled for 2027. This role will help ensure all inpatient and ambulatory facilities are prepared from a construction, electrical, low-voltage, and infrastructure perspective to support successful device implementation across the healthcare system.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management activities supporting Epic device infrastructure planning across inpatient and ambulatory healthcare facilities
  • Partner directly with the Epic End User Device Project Manager to align deployment activities with facility readiness initiatives
  • Conduct detailed facility walkthroughs across hospital and outpatient locations to identify infrastructure gaps, environmental constraints, and readiness requirements

  • Lead facilities and IT coordination huddles and provide status updates to leadership teams
  • Support adaptation of standard Epic device layouts across older or unique healthcare facilities
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational impacts that could affect Epic go-live readiness
  • Ensure all planning activities remain aligned with enterprise implementation milestones and deadlines
