Position Overview:

 
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vitals Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking vital signs and monitoring health data for eligible patients at various long-term care and assisted living facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring that accurate health information is collected and communicated, supporting our remote patient monitoring efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

 
●       Vital Signs Monitoring: Conduct daily assessments of patients' vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature in accordance with established protocols.
●       Data Collection and Reporting: Accurately record and report vital signs data using our electronic health record (EHR) system or other designated tools. Ensure timely submission of data to support remote monitoring and care coordination.
●       Patient Interaction: Establish a compassionate and professional rapport with patients to ensure their comfort and cooperation with remote patient monitoring program during assessments.
●       Facility Collaboration: Work closely with facility staff and healthcare providers to coordinate patient monitoring schedules and address any concerns or issues related to vital signs monitoring.
●       Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines to maintain patient privacy and data security. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
●       Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues related to equipment or data collection processes promptly and efficiently.
●       Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in vital signs monitoring and patient care.


Qualifications:

 
●       Certification: Medical Assistant (MA) certification is required.
●       Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in long-term care or assisted living facilities, is highly desirable.
●       Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
●       Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and pleasantly with patients, facility staff, and healthcare providers.
●       Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting health data.
●       Compassionate Care: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and respectful patient care.
