This role operates within a remote outpatient setting, allowing for a flexible work schedule while maintaining a high standard of care. You will be equipped with the necessary tools for effective telehealth counseling, ensuring seamless integration of services for clients. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews that assess the emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being of clients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate various therapy modalities, including individual and group therapy sessions, to promote healing and coping strategies.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on empirical evidence and individual client responses.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers to coordinate care effectively.
• Manage client referrals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services, especially for clients requiring hospitalization or specialized treatment.
• Educate and support family members and caregivers about mental health challenges, providing them with tools for managing behavior and emotional responses.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients who present with varying degrees of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our clientele includes adolescents, adults, and families seeking guidance and support for complex emotional issues. Your ability to empathize and establish trust will be critical in promoting their mental wellness and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid professional licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A demonstrated understanding of professional ethics and best practices in mental health counseling, validated by a passing score on the NCE and/or NCMHCE.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, specifically experience with AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, with a focus on outpatient therapy and telehealth practices preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction disorders and associated therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed care.
• Understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to counseling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage clients and their families.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that demonstrate a sympathetic and supportive nature.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our practice.
