In this remote role, you will predominantly collaborate with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, and counseling staff, to create a comprehensive support system for students. • Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to evaluate the emotional, social, and financial needs of students and their families.
• Design and implement individualized counseling plans, delivering both individual and group therapy to assist students dealing with adjustment issues, grief, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
• Coordinate with educational staff and community organizations to facilitate seamless transitions for students post-discharge and to provide additional support services as needed.
• Offer guidance and education to families regarding available treatment options, resources, and coping strategies to effectively navigate their circumstances.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate emotional support to students and their families during stressful situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a school environment to develop tailored plans that optimize student outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with educational and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethics in practice.

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents, along with their families, who present with a variety of psychosocial concerns. The LCSW will address issues ranging from behavioral disorders and emotional distress to family dynamics and socio-economic challenges that affect student performance and well-being. • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
