As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health issues, utilizing tools such as standardized questionnaires and clinical interviews.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, including evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Providing ongoing individual therapy sessions, offering support and guidance as you help clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions.
• Setting therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and regularly reviewing these goals to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Offering teletherapy services to accommodate clients who may face accessibility challenges, ensuring that all clients receive the support they need regardless of their circumstances.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and other essential records to uphold ethical standards and fulfill state regulations.
• Actively seeking continued clinical development through workshops, webinars, and other educational opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health care.

You will work primarily with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. Applicants for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist position must possess the following qualifications:

• A current, valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and a safe space for clients to explore their mental health needs.
• A strong aptitude for empathy and cultural competence, demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences while working with clients.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in school-based mental health settings or familiarity with educational environments.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and therapists.
• A background in trauma-informed care, equipping you with skills to support clients dealing with past trauma and its impact on their mental health.
