What we are looking for:
A driven and mission-focused Senior Enterprise Application Architect to lead the architecture and modernization of our enterprise application ecosystem. You will design target-state architectures, standardize APIs, advance event-driven patterns with Redpanda, and build robust integrations across home-grown applications, Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. This is a hands-on technical leadership role shaping the future of Prison Fellowshipโ€™s digital platforms.
Expectations of this role:
  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • Define, design, implementย target-stateย enterpriseย application architecture aligned with organizational strategy
  • Lead solution design forย application technology stackย usingย PHP (Laravel), React, and PostgreSQL onย cloud platformsย 
  • Establish SOA and EDA standards, including event schemas and reusable patterns
  • Architect secure,ย scalableย optimizedย integrations acrossย home-grown applications,ย Salesforce and the Data Warehouse.ย (ETL/ELT, CDC, APIs, streaming)ย 
  • Technical documentation and detailed work descriptions for new features, cross-team projects, and architectural & system design changes
  • Configure and tuneย Redpandaย clusters for high performance and resiliency
  • Promote security-by-design, observability, CI/CD,ย DEVOPS,ย and cloud-native best practices
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical roadmaps
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in software engineering/architecture; 5+ in enterprise architecture
  • Hands-on experience withย PHPย (Laravel), React, PostgreSQL,ย and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)ย 
  • Strong background inย SOA/EDA, Kafkaย orย Redpanda, and API-first architecture (REST/GraphQL)ย 
  • Deep experience integrating withย Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloudย 
  • Experienceย with developingย ETL/ELT, CDC, batch/streaming pipelines, and data quality/lineage practicesย 
  • Experience inย IaCย (Terraform/Cloudformation)ย 
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetesย 
  • Strong security, performance engineering, DevOps, and documentation skillsย 
  • This is a remote/work from home position with a minimum 5% travel component

Salary at Prison Fellowship is determined by a variety of factors. For this position, the salary range is projected to be between $106,000 and $120,000.
