In a remote media relations role, building and sustaining strong connections with journalists and media outlets relies on proactive communication, timely follow-ups, and leveraging digital tools. Professionals typically use email, phone calls, video meetings, and social media to pitch stories, respond to inquiries, and nurture ongoing relationships. Regularly providing valuable content, being responsive, and personalizing outreach are key strategies.
