• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to implement interventions suited to individual cultural and personal backgrounds.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing a broad range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for our clients.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring that patients receive the help they need in critical situations.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, fostering understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions, enhancing collaboration and professional development.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices to continually improve therapeutic offerings and overall service quality.

Our patient population encompasses individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants. You will have the opportunity to address varied mental health challenges within this spectrum, allowing you to apply your expertise in a manner that respects and appreciates each client's unique life experiences.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and cultural competence in clinical practice.
• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy that is both culturally responsive and inclusive.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport across diverse populations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software and computer applications relevant for therapy practice.
• A commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experiential knowledge in working within community health settings and familiarity with the specific challenges faced by underrepresented populations.
• Previous experience in telehealth service delivery, effectively using technology to enhance patient engagement and treatment outcomes.
• Further certifications in culturally competent practices or trauma-informed care are highly desirable.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to our salary package, you will receive:
