We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician to lead the assembly, testing, wiring, and troubleshooting the electro-mechanical systems used in Capsa Healthcare’s Pharmacy Automation products. This is a unique opportunity to shape critical technologies that healthcare professionals depend on every day.


This position reports to the Operations Manager and is an On-Site role based in Portland, Oregon.

As the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will:

  • Installing, testing, and assembling electromechanical equipment, including electrical enclosures, back panels, control panels, wiring assemblies, and automated machinery used in pharmacy automation systems
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, and electronic components
  • Following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control procedures and safely handling sensitive electronic components and assemblies within an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Calibrating, configuring, and modifying equipment to meet operational standards and safety regulations
  • Performing equipment assembly, system integration, functional testing, inspection, and troubleshooting activities to ensure products meet quality and performance requirements prior to shipment.


What We're Looking For

  • Required: Associate degree or Postsecondary Certificate in electromechanical technology, industrial maintenance, or related field. Commensurate experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: Applicable certifications (e.g. ICP & J-STD)
  • Hands on experience through apprenticeships, internships, or prior work in a manufacturing setting is highly valued.
