 What You Will Do:

  • Verifying redline implementation by reviewing and approving, or sending back, incorporated redline markups changes made to 2D/3D solid models and production drawings executed by junior detail/drafter
  • Ensure all revised files comply with aerospace standards for model integrity, drafting quality, version control, and PLM data completeness, including required naming conventions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance and review the drafting output of junior engineers
  • Point of escalation for revision issues, roadblocks and technical questions
  • Lead drafting quality reviews and resolve complex design issues, as needed
  • Manage priorities and keep the team on task to a schedule
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for drafting processes to save time in execution

What You Will Bring:

  • Associate’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or closely related discipline or equivalent 5+ years relevant experience in aerospace and drafting experience.
  • Drafting and/or GD&T certifications (e.g., ASME Y14.5 standard, American Design Drafting Association)
  • Proficiency in CAD Tool experience required (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo)
  • Extensive experience using PLM Tool (EPEC/Teamcenter, Enovia 3DExperience, Windchill, SmarTeam)
  • General knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing techniques and industry standards required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, lead teams, and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


Pay Range: $33.65/hour - $40.86/hour


Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.


Work Requirements: This position is classified as Remote within the United States.


Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
