Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical and compassionate counseling services through secure telehealth video sessions.
• Regularly conduct assessments of client needs, challenges, and progress to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Empower clients by teaching them effective coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills to foster independence.
• Maintain an up-to-date electronic record system to document client interactions and treatment outcomes seamlessly, while ensuring minimal paperwork.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve low-acuity adults who are seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our clients value a non-judgmental space to explore their feelings and develop strategies for managing challenges effectively. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Independent licensure allowing for unsupervised practice.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your counseling license.
• Proficient computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills to foster effective client relationships.
• Reliable and stable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, but not required.
• Background in working with diverse populations or specializations in specific mental health areas (e.g., trauma, relationships, crisis intervention) is an asset.
• Experience creating customized treatment plans based on individual client assessments.

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, contingent upon the number of hours worked.
