We are recruiting for a Remote Senior Enterprise Intelligence Developer to design, build, and support enterprise business intelligence solutions across a large healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an experienced BI professional who enjoys translating complex data into trusted insights, building scalable analytics, and supporting advanced analytics and AI readiness.
Location: 100% Remote. Applicants must live in one of the following states: AL, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, NC, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, or WI.

About This Role
As a Remote Senior Enterprise Intelligence Developer, you will analyze reporting needs, create technical specifications, and develop reports, extracts, and semantic models that support enterprise analytics. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence stack while helping maintain consistent, reliable data across the organization.
This role supports high quality, user focused analytics products with an emphasis on self-service enablement and readiness for AI and advanced analytics. You will work closely with application leaders, report consumers, and peers to deliver trusted insights while following enterprise architecture standards and governance practices.
What You Bring
Education
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience
5 to 10 years of business intelligence or comparable development experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
Skills and Knowledge
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong T SQL development skills
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise report writing and visualization tools
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to understand enterprise data models and determine data structures that benefit the full reporting environment
• Familiarity with Epic applications and database structure through training or prior experience
• For financial reporting, prior experience working with an accounts receivable system is preferred but not required
Preferred
License Registration Certifications
• Epic certifications in Radar, Reporting Workbench Administration, or Clarity Data Model for Epic applications such as EpicCare Ambulatory, ASAP, Anesthesia, Optime, EpicCare Inpatient, Willow, Stork, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Grand Central, ADT, or Cadence
• Microsoft SQL certifications
What You Will Be Doing
• Validate Foundation System reports and identify advanced analytics needs with report consumers
• Partner with application reporting leads and requestors to understand business and data requirements
• Create detailed design and technical specifications for new reports and extracts
• Identify and validate appropriate technologies within the enterprise business intelligence stack
• Develop new reports and visualizations using approved enterprise tools and Clarity data
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple data models
• Modify and enhance existing reports as business needs evolve
• Distribute reports using approved Epic reporting distribution methods
• Review peer developed reports for accuracy, performance, and standards alignment
• Test report builds in designated testing environments and support volume testing in live environments
• Review Epic upgrade documentation related to Clarity and enterprise reporting content and determine implementation approach
• Design and maintain dimensional data warehouse structures and ETL processes integrating multiple data sources
• Ensure analytics solutions align with data governance, security, and privacy standards
• Support development and maintenance of enterprise BI assets and semantic models
• Contribute to user focused analytics tools and data products supporting self service and AI readiness
• Provide informal guidance to peers through reviews, knowledge sharing, and build and test support
• Contribute to standardization through documentation, reusable query patterns, and shared data definitions
• Perform query optimization and troubleshooting to improve performance and reliability
• Independently lead delivery of moderate complexity reports and extracts from requirements through deployment
• Build and support extracts, SlicerDicer, and reports querying the Cogito Data Warehouse
