The Content Manager role functions within the Member Marketing organization leading the Content Team. This role is responsible for leading development and execution of consumer messaging and content strategy to build awareness, activate member accounts and drive utilization of Premise Health services among eligible employees of our clients. This role supervises a team of Content Specialists who create a wide range of materials including emails, web sites, collateral, webinars, digital ads, and more that motivate our members towards better health. The Manager, Content will partner closely with the Member Marketing Strategy team and clinical and operations SMEs to develop and align messaging with desired target/segment beliefs and behaviors. The role will lead collaboration with the Member Marketing Design Team to ensure that the visual design elements of a project appropriately complement content. They will also be responsible for ensuring that final outputs meet brand guidelines, are accurate and error-free.
This is a full time, remote Marketing Content Manager role.
What You'll Do
• Manage a team of Content Specialists to develop engaging outputs that break through the clutter and drive desired consumer behaviors.
• Provide oversight of the Content Team and identify and raise skill gaps in the
team; determine solutions to address them through coaching, mentoring, training, hiring, and/or freelancing recommendations
• Lead the development and execution of content strategy and conceptualization of new communication channels and campaigns that serve the needs of our clients and members.
• Develop and champion a meaningful consumer positioning strategy that aligns with the Premise Brand strategy to demonstrate how we stand apart and above other health offerings available to our members.
• Recommend content tools and techniques, including how to leverage AI, to enable efficient workflows.
• Build and leverage a deep understanding of the consumer mindset and ensure that Premise Health's member experience ladders up to the consumer's needs.
• Develop and manage holistic content calendar recommending and tracking messaging to be delivered to members, including key segments, over time.
• Take complex concepts, ideas and products and translate the benefits and
features into clear, compelling messaging frameworks, value propositions and
frameworks; sell-in messaging strategies to key leaders.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure content aligns with product goals, messaging, and positioning.
• Convincingly present content and messaging concepts to all internal Member Marketing functions, internal partner organizations and external clients.
• Use data and insights from executed campaigns to understand content success and apply learnings for continuous improvement and optimization.
• Oversee QA of final outputs.
• Lead creation and maintenance of content libraries.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in content development; expertise in B2C including passion for aligning content with consumer attitudes to create behavior change.
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with traditional and digital marketing channels, including email, direct mail and web
• Experience at both agency and "in-house" organizations is ideal
• Experience identifying and implementing AI solutions to support efficient human development of content.
• Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus
• Ability to show a portfolio of work that features high-caliber copy integrated into a
• variety of campaigns
• Expert grasp of English language and grammar
• Expert verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide solutions
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to write content personalized for specific audiences or channels
• Strong critical thinking, organizational and planning skills

• Proficient in MS office Suite
• Knowledge of print production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $90,000.00 - $108,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
