Job description

At Kindbridge Research Institute (KRI), we are pioneering work in a space thatโ€™s still taking shapeโ€”gambling-related mental health. As a non-profit at the intersection of research, behavioral health, and community well-being, KRI is leading efforts to better understand gambling behaviors and their impact on vulnerable populations such as veterans, service members, and young adults. Through partnerships with researchers, universities, and public health systems, we deliver data-driven solutions and outreach strategies that promote awareness, prevention, and access to care.

We\'re seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Marketing Manager to help tell KRI\'s story. In this role, you\'ll develop marketing strategies, create compelling communications, and manage campaigns that bring KRI\'s research and public health initiatives to community partners, policymakers, clinicians, and the public. Working across multiple projects, you\'ll help translate complex research into engaging content that drives awareness and expands KRI\'s impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and is passionate about using communications to improve public health.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that increase awareness of KRI\'s research, programs, and public health initiatives
  • Create and oversee marketing assets including webpages, brochures, one-pagers, digital content, campaign materials, and educational resources
  • Write and edit press releases, campaign content, partner communications, and other external materials
  • Manage website content, social media, and other digital communications channels
  • Manage multiple marketing workstreams, coordinating timelines, campaigns, and communications across diverse audiences and projects
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing assets
  • Track campaign performance and use analytics to inform future marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with project managers, leadership, community partners, and vendors to support program communications
  • Maintain organized project documentation and communication workflows

What You\'ll Bring:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or a related field
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably in public health, healthcare, nonprofit, research, or another regulated industry
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content
  • Experience creating marketing assets and managing digital channels, including websites and social media
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Canva, InDesign, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Interest in behavioral health and a desire to learn about gambling, gaming, and related public health issues

Work Culture & Values:

  • Flexible Remote Work Environment: Join a fully remote team that values flexibility, connection, and work-life balance
  • Autonomous & Impact-Driven: We believe in giving our team members the trust, tools, and support to own their work
  • Collaborative & Innovative: Youโ€™ll be part of a dynamic, mission-driven team that values open communication, learning, and experimentation

This is more than a projectโ€”itโ€™s a platform to grow your career, explore new territory, and make a tangible impact. Come join us at KRI!

Wage or salary to be determined by the applicantโ€™s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.$65,000โ€”$80,000 USD
