We are seeking a Head of Marketing & Sales for Grid Solutions in North America, an inspiring leader ready to accelerate growth across the region and deepen our impact in the Utility and Industrial markets.

In this role, you will lead the North America Marketing & Sales organization for our Grid Solutions (Substations) portfolio within the Grid and Power Quality Solutions & Service Product Group. You will drive strategy, market penetration and customer engagement, working closely with regional and global teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead the Marketing & Sales organization for Grid Solutions across North America, driving strategy execution and market growth.

  • Strengthen customer relationships and expand market reach through early engagement, strategic partnerships and targeted sales initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Front-End Sales teams to deploy regional priorities, enhance portfolio visibility and ensure market capture.

  • Develop frameworks such as Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreements to secure pipeline and delivery capabilities.

  • Partner with cross-Hub teams, other Hitachi Energy business units and external collaborators to optimize resource use and pursue strategic opportunities.

  • Manage sales performance, ensuring achievement of sales targets, gross margin expectations and business model coverage.

  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, learning and shared best practices across the region.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your background

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Management or related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive Sales leadership experience in the electrical or power industry, with a strong record of driving strategy and results.

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Business (EP/EPC), in Sales, Operations or Engineering.

  • Demonstrated success leading diverse teams, aligning stakeholders and motivating cross-functional groups.

  • Experience working in multicultural, multiregional environments.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and relationship-building skills.

  • Fluent in English; French language skills considered an asset.

  • Ability to travel within North America and internationally (30-40%).
