The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Systems Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:

Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense?ย  If so, we are hiring an ERP Business Analyst โ€“ Source To Pay to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program.ย 

The OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAPโ€™s S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

The ERP Business Analyst โ€“ Source To Pay is responsible for successful delivery within each phase of the program:

  • Blueprint โ€“ detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.

  • Build โ€“ collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal RTX team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.

  • Testing โ€“ support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.

  • Cutover & Hypercare โ€“ support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX businessโ€™ financial and operational performance.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAPโ€™s S/4HANA solution.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our Source to Pay processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.

  • Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.

  • Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.

  • Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.

  • Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.

  • Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the Source to Pay as part of program.

  • Mentor less experienced team areas in specific areas of the Source to Pay business process hierarchy

  • Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of Source to Pay

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Source to Pay business processes and technical system knowledge across the following areas:

    • Procurement (Product, nonproduct, and services)

    • Accounts Payable โ€“ including supplier invoice management and supplier disbursement processes

    • Vendor (supplier) Master Data

    • Sourcing and Supplier contract management

    • Supplier collaboration and performance management

    • Procurement and supply chain regulatory compliance

    • SAP Fieldglass

    • SAP Ariba

  • Hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities.

  • Experience leading and communicating with project developers and analyst

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization

  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projectsโ€‹

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
