Seaman Corporation is seeking a FiberTite Direct Sales Representative to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager – South and must be in or around the Shreveport area.

POSITION SUMMARY

The FiberTite Direct Sales Representative is responsible for direct sales of FiberTite Roofing for the Arkansas/Louisiana region. This position proactively prospects and interacts directly with the FiberTite Roofing customer base including corporate owners, developers, roofing consultants, contractors, architects, and suppliers. This dynamic role has the primary responsibility of value selling and providing unprecedented customer service to a multitude of strategic end user customers on behalf of Seaman Corporation. The successful candidate in this role embraces a “whatever it takes” approach to managing the territory, taking accountability for results and how they directly impact FiberTite’s strategic vision and market share. The successful candidate will continuously work to increase technical knowledge on FiberTite’s vast portfolio of products and the application of the portfolio in the roofing industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Extrovert personality that proactively prospects for new opportunities, projects, and customers to keep sales pipeline full.
  • Conduct influential sales presentations to corporate owners, developers, roofing consultants, contractors, architects, and suppliers throughout assigned territory; maintain key relationships, negotiate, and closes deals.
  • Uses technical roofing knowledge and understanding of codes/approvals to offer roofing solutions to building owners, roofing consultants, contractors, and architects throughout assigned territory.
  • Work with North American Sales Director / Regional Sales Manager to review market conditions and determine customer needs.
  • Work cross-functionally to quote pricing and other critical information to ensure customers’ needs are exceeded.
  • Partner with the Technical Representative Department resources effectively by planning, coordinating job requirements and communicating to tech reps and customers on a timely basis.
  • Develop reliable and timely sales forecasts.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products. Analyze and control expenditures of territory to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Research, analyze, and share market intelligence information on new products and current product modifications to Innovation and Technology team.
  • Utilize Seaman 360™ to track prospects, contacts, forecast, quotations, opportunities, etc.
  • Assist in coordinating the annual customer service survey, share feedback and use feedback to improve individual and team results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related degree, or Registered Roof Observer certification, with 3- 5 years related experience in roofing industry or related building products industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position is $76,000–$114,000. This salary range is provided in good faith and reflects the range the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits.
