Elsstaffing.com is building a candidate pool for a Chief Operations Office for a large Immigration Law Firm. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Operations Officer anywhere in the country that is willing to work in a hybrid in-office/remote capacity in the Midwest.

As the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the firm, including managing the day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity, and ensuring the firm's compliance with all legal and ethical standards. You will work closely with the firm's partners and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the firm's strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all operational aspects of the firm, including managing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity, and ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

- Collaborate with the firm's partners and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the firm's strategic goals and objectives.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

- Manage and lead a team of legal professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

- Ensure the firm's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners.

- Monitor and manage the firm's budget, expenses, and financial performance.

- Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest legal developments and best practices.

- Stay current on industry trends and developments and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field. MBA or JD preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a law firm or legal services industry.

- Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a law firm, specifically an immigration law firm.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
