Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in retail business operations, multi-store management, and team leadership — particularly at the level expected for experienced general or operations managers overseeing store performance, merchandising, and customer experience.
Role Overview:
  • In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your business and retail operations expertise.
  • No prior AI experience is required.
  • These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to enhance decision-making, improve sales performance, and optimize end-to-end retail operations.

What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:
  • Design and solve real-world retail management and operations scenarios to test AI reasoning.
  • Write clear, structured solutions covering inventory management, staffing, merchandising, and performance optimization.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clarity, operational accuracy, and business relevance.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to improve model understanding of leadership communication, supply chain processes, and retail analytics.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Retail Leader.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain coordination, and sales execution strategies.
