In your role as an LCSW, you will undertake a variety of crucial responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to gather information needed to formulate effective and individualized treatment plans that meet the needs of each student.
• Administering a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and solution-focused therapy, skillfully adapting techniques to address unique client needs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and protection of client information.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educators, psychologists, and other social workers, to provide comprehensive support and coordinate care for students.
• Participating actively in regular clinical supervision and case review discussions to enhance clinical skills and ensure the highest quality of care.
• Providing guidance and educational resources to students and their families, equipping them with coping strategies and linking them to community resources for ongoing support.
• Staying informed about the latest research in mental health practices to continually refine treatment approaches and improve client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be supporting students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or other mental health challenges. By creating a safe and welcoming space, you will help these young clients develop essential coping mechanisms, improve their social skills, and achieve their personal goals, ultimately contributing to their overall academic success and healthy development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, reflecting your educational foundation in this essential field.
• A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and community service.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services, indicating familiarity with effective treatment methodologies.
• A solid understanding of solution-based intervention techniques and a demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices in your therapeutic work.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and fostering trust with students and their families.

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents, providing familiarity with school dynamics and student needs.

• Proficiency using telehealth platforms to facilitate remote sessions, ensuring continued engagement and connection with clients.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
