The Mental Health Counselor will undertake a variety of tasks aimed at delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, ensuring tailored therapeutic approaches based on client needs.
• Engage in initial patient evaluations, followed by essential triaging to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss treatment strategies and progress during regular meetings, ensuring cohesive care delivery.
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and ethical manner, adhering to the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities as part of customized service plans aimed at facilitating patient recovery.
• Manage casework for assigned patients, which involves consultation and coordination with hospital and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
