As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and create personalized treatment plans. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing crisis intervention plans tailored to clients’ needs.
• Documenting patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to guide your clinical decision-making.
• Partnering with other team members to implement positive behavior support plans effectively.
• Engaging in all licensing and accreditation activities to uphold the quality of our services.
• Interacting with various community resources and agency partners to enhance service delivery for our clients.

Your client focus will include individuals dealing with a wide array of challenges such as emotional distress, substance use, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. By implementing therapeutic interventions and providing support, you will guide patients toward recovery and successful community integration. Each interaction will be rooted in empathy and respect, helping clients navigate their journeys to better mental health.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is essential.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida.
• Proficient ability to maintain thorough clinical records and prepare all necessary reports.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in expressing concepts clearly and effectively.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills based on strong professional knowledge.

While the minimum requirement is a Master’s Degree, we prefer candidates who have demonstrable experience within community health settings or similar environments.
