Work Environment

This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while collaborating with a team of mental health professionals. As a telehealth counselor, you'll engage with clients via video conferencing, phone calls, or secure messaging systems, ensuring flexible access to mental health services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews to evaluate their mental health status and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based individual, couple, and family counseling sessions via telehealth, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nutritionists, to create an integrated treatment approach that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring comprehensive documentation of client progress and treatment modifications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, including workshops and seminars, to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with the latest advancements in mental health treatment.
• Participate actively in clinic staff meetings, contributing valuable insights and feedback regarding clinic operations and client care improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population revealing a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance client outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or providing counseling services through digital platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.
• Background in specialized therapeutic modalities or certifications, such as trauma-informed care or play therapy, would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
