Technical Project Manager


Location: United States, ideally Phoenix AZ


POSITION OVERVIEW


1VALET is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join
our company which is growing at a rapid pace. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you
will be responsible for the Project Management, Project Financials and Project Quality. The
ideal candidate will have strong experience in IoT-driven projects involving connected
hardware, cloud platforms, mobile/web applications, and field deployments. This role
bridges engineering, operations, vendors, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on
time, within scope, and on budget. Candidate must have exceptional leadership skills, and a
passion for Project Delivery.


You’ll be joining an amazing hard-working group that’s changing the future of apartment
and condo living. 


RESPONSIBILITIES


Project Management:


Lead end-to-end IoT project lifecycles from requirements through deployment and
handover.


Develop and maintain end to end project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk
registers.


Track budgets, forecasts, and actuals, escalating risks proactively.


Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity.


Communicating effectively with Supply chain, General Contractors, Security.


Conractors and Field technicians regarding labor scheduling, material needs, project
requirements and gathering feedback from the field.


Interface with engineering teams and client teams for project requirements and
scope.


Manage General Contractors, Security Integrators, Subcontractors and Vendors with
their expectations and deliverables.


Project handover with the highest quality.


Project financial reporting.


Continuous process improvements and cross teams’ collaboration.


QUALIFICATION


College Diploma or Degree with a specialization in Engineering and a PMP
Certification
5+ years of project management experience in low voltage and IOT (Must) projects
and experience working with Project Management Software and reporting
5+ years experience working in smart building solutions with the ability to
troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide solutions. Including Access
Control System programming (SALTO, ICT, Brivo), Smart Door Locks (SALTO and
Alfred), Elevator Access Control (SALTO, ICT, Kantech).
Experience in installation and commissioning of IP based Entry Phone systems.
Deep experience in Low Voltage wiring.
Networking knowledge, including thorough knowledge of Networking principles,
LAN/WAN/VLAN Assignments, IP Assignments, Port Forwarding and Unifi Controller
experience preferred. Experience in Remote Desktop Portals and Remote Desktop
Management is a definite plus.

Experience managing CCTV configurations including LPR implementation.  
An excellent written and oral communicator, who pays attention to details, works
collaboratively with cross functional teams. 
Ability to travel to client sites often.


Preferred Requirements:


Bilingual French/English is an asset
Knowledge in Cloud based applications and SaaS.
Certified in SALTO, ICT and CCTV systems.
Familiarity with the HVAC industry.
Familiarity with multi-family residential construction and ability to read blueprints.
