Job description

Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer (PE) to join our growing team in Denver, CO. This role is ideal for a licensed professional engineer who wants to take on meaningful technical responsibility, lead project delivery, and contribute to a collaborative, peoplefocused culture. About the Role

As a Water/Wastewater Engineer at Consor, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal clients. You will evaluate system needs, develop engineering solutions, and prepare highquality technical work products, including design plans, reports, and technical analyses. This position provides opportunities for project leadership, client interaction, and mentorship within a supportive and growthoriented environment.

Salary: $100 - 140k (depending on experience) Compensation for candidates with significant experience beyond the minimum requirements may be considered above this range.

  • Lead and support the planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance, treatment, and pumping systems.
  • Develop and review engineering design packages, including plans, specifications, and technical analyses.
  • Prepare engineering reports, master plans, technical memoranda, and feasibility studies.
  • Design and evaluate pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, storage tanks, and treatment facilities including hydraulic analysis and system optimization.
  • Identify and contribute to project pursuit opportunities, including proposal development and participation in project interviews.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, supporting skill development and quality project delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality, clientfocused outcomes.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4+ years of progressive water and wastewater engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and problemsolving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with treatment facility design, process modeling, and permitting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing tasks, coordinating with clients, and supporting project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a teamoriented environment.
• This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines. May require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
• While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This job may occasionally require operating a company vehicle, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
