Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to identify patients’ mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques specifically for remote delivery to best meet clients’ unique requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely electronic health records (EHR) to document clinical interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
• Engage collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, utilizing virtual meetings to provide coordinated care.
• Participate in monthly case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance clinical practices and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Deliver psychoeducational resources to patients and their families, facilitating informed decisions regarding mental health treatment options and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of school-age children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Remote sessions will allow you to build trust and rapport with clients by providing a safe space for open communication.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations.
• Proficiency in utilizing solution-focused interventions and techniques in a remote context.
