• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients through effective communication and empathy, allowing them to feel safe and understood during their therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices that promote healing and growth.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists as needed, providing referrals and integrated care to support comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay informed of industry best practices.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Farmout Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance abuse. Our goal is to empower clients to lead healthier lifestyles and foster resilient relationships, equipping them with coping skills and strategies to manage their mental health.

• Valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proven therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate clients towards their goals.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and familiarity with evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders.
• Experience working in teletherapy or remote settings is highly desirable.
• Prior experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare environment.
