Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to assist clients in enhancing their mental health.
• Foster open dialogue with clients, encouraging them to explore their emotions and experiences to develop self-insight and strengthen personal relationships.
• Advocate for clients by helping them define personal goals and navigate their mental health journey.
• Evaluate each client’s mental conditions, formulate, and implement treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused approaches grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Document session notes and treatment plans in compliance with organizational standards while maintaining confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds who have been screened to ensure they present with stable mental health and low acuity needs. This unique client population allows you to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships and tailors your therapeutic approach based on the specific needs and goals of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possession of an independent license, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Capacity to make professional assessments and provide recommendations for effective treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by empathetic engagement with clients.
• Proficient in using technology for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with diverse populations, especially those facing unique societal challenges.
• Familiarity with solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches.
