Job description

Commissioning Agents review information pertaining to completed installations of a BAS system or other projects and verify that what has been installed and configured matches what was sold to the customer and meets quality standards. You will also work with other teams and departments to continue to grow and template the Commissioning process documentation to deploy quicker and more accurately. Commissioning Agents collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.

A Commissioning Agent will:

  • Review design plans, process documents, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products and projects
  • Contribute to improving commissioning processes and building on commissioning best practices
  • Generate project-specific installation checklists and functional performance tests
  • Review installation deliverables, live dashboards, and user interfaces to ensure that what has been installed meets project needs and prescribed quality standards.
  • Understand and verify that a written scope of work has been completed.
  • Communicate the Remote Commissioning status with other teams and departments.
  • Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects.
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

Required

  • One year in a commissioning role or related experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization's products and production processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience with Linux and Windows
