Job description

Pure Power Engineering is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Multimedia Specialist to join our team. This role primarily focuses on video creation and production, with additional responsibilities in photography and live streaming company town halls. The Multimedia Specialist will work closely with different departments to support our marketing, recruiting, internal and technical training by producing high-quality, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:
Live and Pre-Recorded Video Production:
  • Set up and operate video equipment for live streaming and production of various events.
  • Record and produce pre-recorded videos for training, marketing, and other purposes.
  • Edit high-quality videos, including cutting, sequencing, adding text/transitions, audio enhancement, color grading, etc.
  • Build out a Library of Content to support marketing, recruiting, SOP training, and Technical Training.

Photography:
  • Capture professional headshots.
  • Capture photos of various company events.
  • Capture photos of project sites, including using drones for aerial shots.
  • Edit photos, including retouching, color correction, and optimizing images for various uses.

Recording Studio Operator:
  • Assist in maintaining Pure Power's new recording studio.
  • Learning to operate it to its full potential and production value.
  • Assist in selecting future equipment and production enhancements.

Graphic Design:
  • Create graphics for videos and hard collateral, ensuring a consistent and professional look across all media.
  • Design and incorporate basic motion graphics into videos.

Artificial Intelligence:
  • Utilize generative AI tools for image, video and copy generation.
  • Utilize AI tools for closed captions, video editing, script generation, studio production and more.

Content Management:
  • Manage and organize videos and digital content, ensuring it is easily accessible and up to date on our company's SharePoint site and Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of all multimedia content before distribution.

Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 1-4 years of experience in video production and photography.
  • Experience with Animation, Graphic Design, and Photography.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve or similar video editing software.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior team members.
  • Capability to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production and propose innovative ideas to enhance our content.
  • Ability to be flexible and come into the office occasionally on remote days and attend after-hour company events occasionally to align with business need.
  • Able to travel 10-15% to capture on-site content.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Multimedia, Videography, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with content management systems, particularly SharePoint and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Live Stream Production and Setting up Video Equipment for Content Creation (Blackmagic Cameras, Switchers, Rodecaster, Rode Microphones, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft & Adobe Products
  • Experience with AI tools for Content Creation
  • Experience with Drone Equipment a Plus
  • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms and Trends a Plus

Location
This position will be based out of our exciting downtown Hoboken, NJ Headquarters with the flexibility to work a hybrid in-office and remotely weekly schedule. We are next to public transportation options from NYC and Northern NJ. We also provide a parking spot for the days when an employee wishes to drive to the office and for those that utilize public transportation, we will cover the costs associated with traveling to and from the office.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. We pay 100% of our employee medical, dental, and vision benefits costs, offer 401k matching, commuter benefits and much more.
Salary Range
$50,000 - $65,000 annually.
