Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and ethical individual mental health counseling to clients via video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client needs, facilitating effective therapy sessions.
• Develop detailed and personalized treatment plans that incorporate client strengths and address specific challenges.
• Assist clients in gaining insights into their experiences, emotions, and relationships to foster personal growth.
• Monitor client progress consistently throughout the treatment plan, adjusting strategies to encourage the development of healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on serving stable, low-acuity adults who seek assistance with a variety of mental health needs. You will work with diverse clients who face challenges that range from mild anxiety and depression to adjustment issues and relationship concerns. The goal of your interventions will be to empower these individuals to enhance their overall quality of life by developing effective coping strategies and achieving personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license, with the ability to practice independently. Ideal credentials include:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• PsyD or PhD in Psychology
• No limited or provisional licenses. Candidates must not have any disciplinary actions on their record.

Preferred Experience

• Strong interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and supportive nature, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficient computer literacy, with the capability to conduct video sessions and manage online portals.
• Previous experience working remotely or in telehealth settings is a plus, enabling a smooth transition into this role.
