In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting thorough assessments and delivering ethical, compassionate individual counseling sessions via secure video chat.
• Implementing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Creating and updating individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and monitoring their progress throughout the therapy process.
• Facilitating discussions that help clients gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
• Equipping clients with healthy coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients presenting a diverse range of mental health needs. Our focus is on providing supportive care to individuals looking to enhance their quality of life through guided therapeutic practices. Each client is matched to you based on your areas of expertise and preferences, ensuring that you engage in rewarding therapeutic relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No history of disciplinary actions and no limited/provisional licensing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong computing skills, with familiarity in utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively.

While not required, experience in teletherapy or working in a remote clinical environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices will also be beneficial while engaging with clients.
