This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from the comfort of your home. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and inform appropriate treatment methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, integrating both short-term and long-term goals for resilience building.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapy sessions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to enable patients to process their trauma while developing coping mechanisms and fostering healing.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a well-rounded, integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.
• Maintain documentation and records accurately in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, participating actively in discussions on trauma-informed care practices and enhancements.
• Stay informed on the latest research, treatments, and best practices within the trauma therapy field to continually improve therapeutic approaches.

In this role, you will work primarily with clients who have experienced significant trauma, such as military veterans, survivors of violence, and individuals diagnosed with PTSD or complex trauma. Your expertise will guide them through their healing process, addressing not only the symptoms of their conditions but also their emotional and psychological needs. Your compassionate support will play a critical role in their recovery journey, making a profound impact on their lives.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that resonate with an understanding and compassionate approach to therapy.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computing skills to ensure efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• A collaborative spirit with an ability to bring a multidisciplinary team together for comprehensive care solutions.

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of post-licensure experience working with trauma survivors and employing trauma-focused therapy techniques. Experience with diverse populations and a record of advocating for patient-centered care will set applicants apart.

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and expertise. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including:
