• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver short-term individual therapy sessions and crisis intervention services to patients dealing with a wide variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate supportive therapy groups and workshops, empowering clients through peer interaction and education on mental health topics relevant to their experiences.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical personnel and community outreach specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment and recovery.
• Engage in community mental health initiatives, promoting awareness and literacy to help reduce stigma and improve access to mental health services.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards to support effective care and reporting.

Our patient demographic is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, age groups, and socio-economic statuses. You will work closely with patients experiencing significant mental health challenges, often in conjunction with physical health issues. Understanding the unique context and needs of this population is crucial for formulating effective treatment strategies that lead to improved well-being and life outcomes.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health issues relevant to community health environments, with a proven ability to evaluate and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities essential for fostering relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

• Prior experience in a counseling center or hospital setting is highly desirable, particularly in working with diverse populations and chronic mental health conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models tailored for individuals facing acute mental health challenges.
• Experience in conducting outreach and wellness initiatives aimed at increasing community engagement and mental health literacy.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
