Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions via secure video conferencing to provide tailored mental health interventions.
  • Encouraging clients to openly express their feelings and life experiences to facilitate self-discovery and insights into their interpersonal relationships.
  • Acting as a client advocate, providing guidance in defining and pursuing their personal goals.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health, utilizing clinical expertise to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on solution-focused methodologies.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with adults who present with stable, low-acuity mental health conditions. Your role will focus on equipping these individuals with the necessary tools to manage their mental health effectively, fostering resilience and empowerment through understanding their experiences.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
  • Possession of an independent license such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Strong computer literacy skills, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms effectively.
