Thrive Horizons Wellness is seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, Maryland. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting and supportive relationships with patients to facilitate open communication and therapeutic progress.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop custom treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic approaches and techniques based on evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to appropriate specialists when additional services are required.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Participate in training, meetings, and workshops to continue enhancing therapeutic skills and contribute to team development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals, couples, and families who are facing various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and complex family dynamics. Your expertise in navigating these concerns will empower our patients to reclaim their personal and relational health.

Qualifications

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health principles, therapeutic techniques, and effective counseling strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure successful patient interactions and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy, active listening, and motivational interviewing techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in addiction counseling and a thorough understanding of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and the ability to address sensitive topics with compassion and professionalism.
• Prior experience working in community health settings or telehealth environments is preferred.
• Competence in using electronic health record systems for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

Thrive Horizons Wellness offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, based on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
