Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain trusting and supportive relationships with patients to facilitate open communication and therapeutic progress.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop custom treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic approaches and techniques based on evidence-based practices.
  • Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to appropriate specialists when additional services are required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mental health principles, therapeutic techniques, and effective counseling strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure successful patient interactions and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
