TekSystems is currently hiring for several Fully Remote Pharmacy Technician/Healthcare Call Center Representatives!

MUST HAVE: 1-3 years of healthcare enrollment, pharmacy tech, healthcare call center dealing with insurances, or something related experience!

Description

This role supports Medicare members, providers, pharmacies, brokers, and internal teams with prescription drug coverage and pharmacy benefit questions. Many interactions involve members experiencing barriers to medication access, making it critical for representatives to listen carefully, research the issue, explain benefits clearly, and guide members through the appropriate next steps toward resolution.

- Respond to inbound calls and inquiries related to Medicare pharmacy benefits, prescription coverage, pharmacy claims, and plan information.

- Assist members, providers, brokers, internal teams, and other stakeholders with pharmacy-related questions and issue resolution.

- Research and resolve inquiries using internal systems, routing queues, vendor applications, plan documents, and knowledge resources.

- Review and interpret pharmacy benefit information, policies, procedures, and plan requirements to provide accurate guidance.

- Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately in accordance with compliance and procedural standards.

- Escalate complex issues when needed and coordinate with internal teams or vendor contacts to support resolution.

- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, organizational, and regulatory requirements.

- Meet quality, productivity, and customer experience expectations in a structured, monitored environment.

- Participate in training and coaching to maintain current knowledge of pharmacy benefits, Medicare programs, and internal processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Prior customer service or call center experience required.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to explain detailed or complex information clearly and professionally.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Comfortable navigating multiple systems while assisting callers.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.

- Medicare, Medicare Part D, pharmacy benefits, PBM, or prescription coverage experience preferred.

- Experience in healthcare, insurance, benefits, prior authorization, claims, or member services.

This is a Contract position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
