Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized video counseling sessions aimed at enhancing clients' mental health and emotional well-being.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients, encouraging them to express their feelings and experiences, fostering self-understanding and personal growth.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a solution-focused approach grounded in clinical expertise.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, supporting them to identify and achieve their personal goals through empathetic listening and expert guidance.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mental states to inform treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are primarily pre-screened adults facing low acuity mental health challenges. This ensures that counselors can focus on providing effective care without the added stress that often accompanies high-acuity cases. Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• A valid independent license issued by the state board, specifically a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Note that provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Proven ability to evaluate clients' needs and devise appropriate treatment plans while delivering compassionate care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a naturally empathetic disposition.
• Strong proficiency with technology to navigate our therapist portal and conduct sessions via video conferencing tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting is an advantage, as this role demands adeptness with virtual platforms for client interaction.
• A track record of working with diverse populations and an understanding of varying cultural dynamics in mental health.
• Experience in developing effective therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs.
