• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental and emotional health, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to determine their unique needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that engage patients and promote effective coping strategies.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, remaining current with the latest evidence-based practices, to deliver effective counseling to individuals.
• Engage in active listening and empathetic communication to foster strong therapeutic relationships, encouraging clients to open up about their challenges.
• Conduct bi-weekly or monthly check-ins to evaluate each client's progress towards their mental health goals and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with other mental health providers as required, making referrals for specialized services when appropriate.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best clinical practices.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Our patient population comprises individuals from diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field is required to ensure a solid foundational knowledge of therapeutic practices.
• Valid state licensing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory for practice.
• Proven experience in delivering counseling services in a clinical or community setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to create rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to assess and implement customized treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs.

• Experience working in a remote or telehealth setting is advantageous, especially knowledge of remote therapy tools and platforms.
• Previous work in a community health clinic or experience with diverse patient populations will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling and experience in integrating these methodologies into treatment.
