Job description

Job Title: Verint System Administrator

Job Summary

The Verint System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Verint systems and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and compliance of the Verint environment, enabling secure and reliable voice and screen recording across the enterprise. The administrator will work closely with IT Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and Operations teams to support business-critical systems and maintain overall platform stability.

Key Responsibilities

Verint Platform Administration

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Verint servers, applications, and related components
  • Monitor system performance, recording health, storage utilization, and application availability
  • Perform routine audits of data retention policies and system logs
  • Apply Verint patches, hotfixes, and version upgrades in coordination with vendor support

System Maintenance & Support

  • Troubleshoot Verint platform issues including outages, integration failures, and performance degradation
  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for Verint-related incidents and escalations
  • Manage storage tiers, archiving processes, and retention schedules to meet compliance requirements
  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery configurations are properly implemented and maintained

Integrations & Infrastructure

  • Support and maintain integrations with voice platforms such as SIP, VoIP, PBX, and SBCs
  • Work with network and telecom teams to validate call flows, routing, and trunk configurations impacting recording
  • Monitor Windows Server OS health, security patches, and hardware performance
  • Support multi-server, clustered, and redundant Verint environments

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure Verint systems comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, FINRA, as applicable)
  • Manage user access, roles, permissions, and audit logging
  • Support legal hold requests, retention enforcement, and compliance-related exports

Documentation & Process Management

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
  • Create knowledge articles for support teams and operational partners
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • 3โ€“5+ years of experience administering enterprise systems, contact center platforms, or recording solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Verint platforms (WFO, Playback, Impact 360; versions v15.x / v7.x preferred)
  • Strong experience with Windows Server environments
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server (basic queries, logs, and troubleshooting)
  • Understanding of VoIP/SIP technologies, call routing, SBCs, and telephony protocols
  • Experience supporting multi-server, clustered, or high-availability environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Verint Centralized Management (CM)
  • Familiarity with cloud or hybrid Verint deployments
  • Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred; Python a plus)
  • Verint certifications or formal training

Soft Skills
