Now Hiring: System Administrator

We're looking for a System Administrator who will keep Climate First Bank's technology environment secure, reliable, and ready for growth. In this role, you will support critical on-premises and cloud-based systems, manage user access and lifecycle provisioning, strengthen operational controls, and serve as a trusted technical escalation point for complex issues across the organization.

What You'll Contribute:

Keep Critical Systems Running Strong

  • Administer critical on-premises and cloud-based systems, including servers, virtualization platforms, endpoint management solutions, and core banking-related technologies.
  • Maintain system uptime, performance reliability, and lifecycle management through monitoring, maintenance, patching, and release planning.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and continuous improvement activities across infrastructure and mission-critical systems.

Strengthen Access, Security, and Operational Controls

  • Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, group policies, identity and access controls, and user lifecycle provisioning in alignment with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, information security requirements, and standards including BSA, AML, OFAC, NIST, and vendor-related controls.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for system-related outages, security events, or operational disruptions, coordinating with cybersecurity partners as needed.

Build Clarity, Documentation, and Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Develop, maintain, and audit system documentation, diagrams, configuration baselines, and runbooks to ensure operational transparency and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Digital Banking teams to support system requirements, upgrades, integrations, and cross-department initiatives.
  • Serve as an escalation point for IT Specialists and System Administrators, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance oversight.

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or related IT roles, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, SaaS platforms, enterprise storage technologies, and secure configuration practices.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, group policy, identity and access management, endpoint management, and Microsoft 365 administration.
