Job description

Healthcare Sales • Full-Cycle B2B • MSP / Cybersecurity / Cloud

New Jersey / Tri-State: Hybrid | Florida: Remote/Hybrid
Full-Time | $75,000–$90,000 Base | $150,000–$175,000 OTE | Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity

What if your healthcare relationships and sales ability could translate into a bigger, more technical solution set?

We're recruiting for a fast-paced managed services provider helping healthcare organizations solve critical IT, cybersecurity, compliance, cloud, uptime, and support challenges.

This is a full-cycle business development role built for someone who knows how to create pipeline, earn credibility with healthcare decision-makers, and turn conversations into revenue.

You'll primarily target healthcare organizations including EHR/EMR clinics, specialty practices, surgery centers, outpatient organizations, and other mid-market healthcare entities.

This is not a pure appointment-setting position.

You'll research accounts, identify meaningful business triggers, prospect across multiple channels, qualify opportunities, participate in discovery and solution positioning, and own or support opportunities through close depending on deal size and complexity.

What You'll Own

Build Net-New Pipeline

  • Prospect into healthcare and mid-market accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and social selling.
  • Research target organizations and personalize outreach around relevant triggers such as growth, new locations, security concerns, compliance gaps, and IT challenges.
  • Reach decision-makers including Owners, COOs, CFOs, Practice Administrators, and IT leaders.
  • Build and manage a measurable pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Convert inbound marketing, event, and referral leads into qualified sales opportunities.

Develop and Close Opportunities

  • Qualify prospects around stakeholders, existing IT/MSP environments, business pain, security, compliance, uptime, support, budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Conduct or support discovery conversations.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for non-technical healthcare buyers.
  • Coordinate with sales leadership and technical resources on more complex opportunities.
  • Navigate objections and consistently progress qualified opportunities toward revenue.

Sell Solutions That Matter to Healthcare

You'll learn to position solutions across:

  • Managed endpoint and network services
  • Cybersecurity
  • Cloud and modern workplace solutions
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Help desk and ongoing IT support
  • Security and compliance-focused services

You do not need to be an engineer. You do need the curiosity and technical aptitude to understand these solutions and explain why they matter to healthcare operators.

Operate With Discipline

  • Manage activity, pipeline, data, and forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership.
  • Share market feedback on messaging, objections, competitors, and product fit.
  • Participate in healthcare and relevant industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and outreach tailored to healthcare and regulated industries.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

  • 2–5 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in an Account Executive, Inside Sales, BDR/SDR, or similar revenue-generating role.
  • A demonstrated track record of generating pipeline and contributing to closed revenue, rather than only setting appointments.
  • Direct experience selling into healthcare organizations, such as clinics, practices, surgery centers, outpatient organizations, or healthcare groups.
  • Experience communicating with executive and operational buyers such as Owners, COOs, CFOs, Practice Administrators, or similar stakeholders.
  • Strong outbound prospecting ability across cold calling, email, LinkedIn, social selling, and other channels.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn IT services quickly.
  • Organized, metrics-driven approach to managing a high-activity sales environment.

Strongly Preferred

  • Understanding of how healthcare organizations evaluate and purchase technology or business services.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, or compliance-driven sales conversations.
  • Experience selling managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, or other technical solutions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous MSP or IT services sales experience.
  • Experience selling into regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, or another structured sales methodology.

Healthcare sales credibility matters more than already knowing every MSP solution. Technical solutions can be learned. The ability to understand healthcare buyers and earn their trust is harder to teach.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days: Learn the solution portfolio, sales process, and target market while beginning account research and pipeline development.

By 90 Days: Run a consistent outbound motion, confidently engage healthcare decision-makers, and build meaningful qualified pipeline.

By 6 Months: Develop momentum with approximately 2–3 potential managed services contracts progressing through later stages of the sales process.

By 1 Year: Close approximately 2–3 net-new client deals and demonstrate a repeatable process for finding, engaging, and converting new opportunities.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000
  • OTE: $150,000–$175,000
  • Commission: Uncapped
  • Sign-On Bonus: $500

Benefits

  • Nationwide medical and dental insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Company-gifted long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Generous PTO policy
  • HSA and FSA options
  • Paid training and certification assistance
  • Flexible working schedule
  • Team-building events

Why Consider It?

This is an opportunity for a healthcare seller who wants more ownership than a traditional SDR role and more upside from the opportunities they create.

You'll have access to leadership and technical support on complex opportunities while still owning the part that great salespeople want to own: finding the right accounts, starting meaningful conversations, building pipeline, and turning that pipeline into revenue.

If you know how healthcare organizations buy, enjoy opening doors, and want to expand into IT, cybersecurity, and managed services, this could be a strong next step.
