Job Title: Dedicated Support Engineer (DSE) / Rocky Linux Consultant
Job Summary:
SME for Architecture in Linux Red Hat
Role: Dedicated Support Engineer - Rocky Linux Infrastructure (Advisory).
Duration: 6 months (8 hours a week)
Experience: Minimum 10-12+ overall years Centos Red Hat "Fedora"
Role Summary
  • Senior RockyLinux infrastructure advisor providing proactive, strategic guidance
  • Focuson performance, stability, security, and operational excellence
  • Advisory-onlyrole (no hands-on implementation or system administration)

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess RockyLinux environments and identify optimization opportunities
  • Providerecommendations for compute, storage, and network configurations on RockyLinux platforms
  • Analyzes the client system and storage performance and suggest Rocky Linux tuning strategies
  • Adviseon capacity planning and resource utilization for Rocky Linux systems
  • Recommendoperational best practices and incident prevention strategies
  • Guideon automation and workflow optimization in Rocky Linux environments
  • Providepatch management, security hardening, and OS lifecycle planning guidancefor Rocky Linux
  • Reviewdocumentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions
  • Preparewritten recommendation reports and KPI tracking
  • Participatein regular customer advisory and review sessions

Required Skills & Experience
  • Stronghands-on experience with Rocky Linux (mandatory)
  • EnterpriseLinux experience (RHEL / CentOS) strongly preferred
  • Solidknowledge of Rocky Linux OS internals and administration concepts
  • Understandingof compute, storage, and networking fundamentals
  • Experiencewith Linux performance and stability analysis
  • Knowledgeof patching, security hardening, and OS lifecycle management on RockyLinux
  • Abilityto produce clear technical recommendations and documentation
  • Strongcustomer-facing communication and advisory skills
  • Senior-levelexperience in enterprise infrastructure environments

Preferred
  • RockyLinux / RHEL certifications (RHCE/RHCSA or equivalent)
  • Experiencein consulting or advisory roles
